We also met some young German youth by the names of Roland, Frieda, and Sarah. They were in their late teens early twenties working on Morija for a year. They helped run the youth program and really got it off the ground. I think that's pretty cool.
This morning we are off to another guest house in Maseru. I am staying with Elizabeth this time which I am excited about. I have had some great roomies while on this trip. Elizabeth is celebrating her birthday tomorrow (7/10/11) so we had a pre-birthday birthday party in the room we aptly namd the "Cabana". Needless to mention it's been a lot of fun on this trip :)
Here is a quick flick of our room. It is pretty much the coolest room ever and as I mentioned we are calling it the Cabana Room.
Tomorrow (7/10/11) we are off to the blanket festival which should be a lot of fun. I gather it to be like a carnival/county fair for blankets. In case you are unaware, the blanket is a prestigious garment in Africa. The patterns have a lot of symbolic meaning and colors talk about the region a person comes from. Kind of a neat way to share with others about who you are and where you come from.
